Our Victorious City Inc. (OVC) is pleased to announce the India Chapple ( May 1,1987- April 19, 2014) Memorial 2022-2023 $2,000 Student Scholarship for students enrolled in Baltimore City Public/ Charter Schools. This scholarship is established for the purpose of promoting education in Creative Arts for Baltimore City High School Seniors.  India Chapple have three beautiful sons who she loves dearly. She achieved academic success throughout her educational experience. India was Laurel High School homecoming Princess and her passion for art and writing allowed her enrollment in advanced college courses where she also performed in Shakespearean plays. She volunteered at the Veterans Administration Hospital in the District of Columbia. India's employment with the D C Metropolitan  School System as a Security Officer earned her an Honor of Distinction Award for her dedication, support of school operations, and protective service in keeping DC Metropolitan children safe. 

She developed her spiritual roots as a child and had a one-of-a-kind personality. Humorous, witty, and joyful in one breath and in the next breath India's intuitive gut busting statements  would knock you out of your seat with her thought provoking observations that would really make you think about things in a new light. Her raw presence created a soft, tender and caring feeling where ever she went.
